Parenting is more art than science; It’s about understanding your child as an individual, seeing their unique strengths and talents and using this as a way to focus your support for them. But how do we identify the support they need, to ensure we are encouraging them to achieve their potential and thrive?
Building our wellbeing strategies gives us the knowledge to identify and respond to our children’s needs and to ensure we are providing what they need to flourish.

Parent and child session on strengths.                  Our aim for this session is to support parents and children to create a shared understanding and dialogue to focus on strengths and emotions for flourishing.

In this session we will cover:

  • Finding your shared vision
  • Understanding strengths and operating from a strength-based approach
  • Acknowledging emotions and tools to manage them

Raising flourishing children

Concepts to support potential.
We will cover happiness, values, strengths, emotions, growth mindset and praise and how these concepts can support you as parents to give your children the best chance at succeeding in the game of life.

In this session we will cover:

  • Benefits of focusing on wellbeing at home
  • Understanding strengths
  • Acknowledging emotions
  • Supporting mistakes
  • Creating an environment of growth and trust

Supporting Parents of school aged children

There are so many questions a parent has as their child gets ready for school or as they move through school.

From an educator’s perspective I can support you to:

  • Identify how to choose the right school for your child
  • Consider what to look for in a school
  • Reflect on realistic and unrealistic expectations for your child at school
  • Support your child through Prep
  • Support your child through their transition periods in school
  • Develop strategies you can utilise to support your child to manage changes at school
  • Empower your child to make friends and make choices
    (We offer one on one or group sessions to cater to your needs, questions and queries.)
